TO: THE DELEGATES AND ALTERNATES OF SENATE DISTRICT 42 RPM

Pursuant to the provisions of the Constitution of the Republican Party of Minnesota and the Bylaws of Senate District 42 RPM, the caucus delegates & alternates residing in Senate District 42 are called to meet at:

Wayzata West Middle School

SATURDAY MARCH 21st, 2026

Registration opens at 8:15 AM    •    Convention Gavel at 9:00 AM

The Senate District 42 Organizing Convention shall be composed of the delegates and alternates elected at the 2026 precinct caucuses designated as lying within the boundaries of Senate District 42.

The Convention shall be held for the purpose of:

  1. Endorsement of Candidates for MN House Districts 42A & 42B and MN Senate District 42.
  2. Election of Delegates & Alternates to the 3rd Congressional District and State Conventions
  3. Report of the Resolutions Committee
  4. Other business as may properly come before this convention

Any SD 42 legislative candidate seeking endorsement for MN House 42A, 42B, or MN Senate District 42 must submit a candidate application by March 14, 2026, and be prepared to make a five-minute convention speech to promote their candidacy.



Any SD 42 delegate or alternate running for delegate to the CD3 and State Conventions must submit a delegate application form by March 8, 2026, and be prepared to make a one-minute convention speech to promote their candidacy.


The candidate & delegate due dates (listed above) are non-negotiable. 


No names may be submitted at the convention.
