The first Southwest Metropolitan Pints & Politics of 2022 is set for Monday, February 21, a week after Valentine’s Day. We will kick off at 5:00 pm at The Tavern on France, 6740 France Ave S, Edina.

Pints & Politics will continue to be primarily a networking event.  In a nod to the election year, however, Republican candidates will be given the opportunity to speak for a few minutes after 7 pm.  This is a great chance to talk one-on-one with our candidates, then listen to them address the crowd.

If you RSVP before the deadline of February 20, you can enjoy the $14 early registration price.  This fee covers your first drink and great flatbread pizza appetizers!  Under our arrangement with the Tavern, our servers will only accept drink tickets.  RSVP below to save your spot.

Several candidates will be attending.  Jim Schultz is seeking Republican endorsement for MN Attorney General.  Kim Crockett, candidate for MN Secretary of State, also plans to come.  Tom Weiler and Adam Schwarzecandidates for Congress in Congressional District 3, will both join us.

If you purchase a ticket after February 20, the price is $19.  Additional drink tickets available for $9 each.  We urge you to use the drink tickets rather than buy drinks at the bar to help us cover the room minimum.

Declared Candidates:  you can come for free, just let us know in advance that you are coming.  If you let us know early enough, we will include your name in our promotions.

Come as early as 5 pm or drop in up to 7:30 pm, as many of us will still be there. Take a break, have a beverage and talk in-person with local party leaders, candidates, and a number of genuinely good people.
