The Senate District 42 Executive Board voted unanimously to recommend Laura Conway as our preferred candidate for Wayzata School Board.
Laura is also the only candidate recommended by the Minnesota Parents Alliance, Republican Senate Districts 37 & 42.

About Laura
Laura Conway is a proud Wayzata parent and longtime community advocate who believes every child deserves the opportunity to thrive. Laura is running for the Wayzata School Board to ensure that schools remain strong, safe, transparent, and responsive to families.
As a parent of three Wayzata students, Laura understands firsthand the importance of safe classrooms, excellent teachers, and clear communication between the district and families. As a nonpartisan candidate, Laura is committed to putting students first, ensuring that every decision prioritizes their safety, learning, and future success.
Laura grew up in Shoreview, MN and graduated from Mounds View High School before attending the University of Minnesota. She earned her Juris Doctorate and law license in Texas where she was a city prosecutor, then practiced civil litigation. Later, she went on to help build one of the largest nonprofit animal rescues in north Texas.
Laura moved back to Minnesota in 2021, to be closer to family and to give her children the opportunity to grow and learn in the Wayzata district. See the policy details here.
