Leadership Restructuring

Preparing for Success. As we approach the all-important 2026 election in Minnesota, the Republican Party of Minnesota must be prepared for full and complete operational success. I have been reflecting on this objective and have concluded that the traditional role of Executive Director may not be the best structure for operational success. My team is reviewing this structure and considering realignment options to strengthen the stability of the party's day-to-day operations, allowing our political and communications teams to focus on exposing the failed policies of the Democrats.

Realignment.  As part of this strategic realignment, Jennifer De Journett is departing as the Executive Director. Jennifer has served with exceptional competence, loyalty, and skill. From the very first day of my term as Chair, she has been a trusted advisor and a valued friend. Her leadership was instrumental in guiding the party through the significant challenges we faced when I took over as Chair. Jennifer provided steady leadership during a challenging transition and was instrumental in stabilizing our finances and improving our operations over the past six months. I am deeply grateful for her continued professionalism and steadfast commitment to the party. She will be assisting us in a short-term limited role to ensure a smooth transition process.

Poised for Success.  As this strategic realignment is being implemented, our dedicated team is stepping up to ensure we continue moving forward with strength and focus. I truly believe our party is poised for success in the 2026 election cycle. I look forward to strengthening the party’s relationships with all stakeholders.
