This week, the truth was confirmed:

DFL Senator Nicole Mitchell has been convicted of felony burglary. What began as an embarrassing scandal has now become a full-blown constitutional crisis — and the responsibility lies squarely at the feet of Governor Walz and the DFL Senate.

    They knew.

    They delayed.

    They defended.


And all because they needed her vote — not for the people of Minnesota — but to advance a deeply unpopular and damaging agenda.

 

Instead of accountability, Minnesotans got:

  • An $18 billion surplus squandered
  • $10 billion in tax hikes during a time of economic strain
  • The worst academic performance in state history, with over half of our children unable to read or do math at grade level
  • Radical social policy, including boys in girls’ sports, and taxpayer-funded benefits for non-citizens
  • And government programs riddled with fraud, corruption, and zero accountability

This isn’t just a story about one politician’s fall from grace — it’s about a party so committed to power that they were willing to keep a felon in the Senate chamber to get what they wanted.

 

We will not let this moment pass.

Under my leadership, the Republican Party of Minnesota has undergone a deliberate, disciplined rebuild:

  • We've stabilized and strengthened party operations
  • We've added permanent infrastructure and field staff
  • We've increased digital and communications capabilities
  • And we are prepared to contest — and win — any open seat that emerges

Let me be clear: we are going to flip this Senate seat. And we will continue building the majority needed to restore decency, common sense, and public trust in St. Paul.
