Get Ready for a Great Convention
What to expect on Saturday

Take a look at the Agenda and the Convention Flyer for the details, but here's a quick overview of what to expect.

The convention is called to accomplish these three (3) important tasks.

  • Electing Delegates to the CD3 & State Conventions
  • Acting on proposed amendments to the MN GOP platform
  • Endorsing our presumptive Candidate for MN State Senate, Kevin Peterson.

As you look at the Agenda, you'll see that it takes 18 procedural steps to accomplish these tasks.

In between those steps, we'll also be visited by a stream of statewide candidates who will address us for a few minutes each.  This will be a great opportunity to hear from the candidates who have visited SD 42 over the past 8 months... and some who have not.

Finally, we'll re-emphasize our Get Out The Vote (GOTV) initiative and introduce our Precinct Connect strategy for this Summer & Fall.

So it will be a packed day!

Please register Today!

Thank you to the 62 people who have registered.  If you're one of the 97 who have not yet registered and pre-purchased your ticket, please do so today.  It makes registration so much smoother if everyone is prepaid...  and it saves you $10!

If your schedule is going to prevent you from attending, please notify us at [email protected].

CD3/State Delegate Candidate Statements &
Senate Candidate Statements

Thank you to all of you who submitted an application to run for CD3/State delegate. We had an excellent participation rate with 48 applications for our 26 allocated delegate openings.  We are vetting and compiling the application statements currently, intending to publish them for you on Thursday.   So keep your eyes open for these.

We recommend you review the list of candidates and their statements prior to Saturday.  All delegates will vote for 26 candidates.

Our convention is open to all.
Your Friends & Family are welcome

Only  Alternates & Delegates will be allowed on the voting floor, but anyone is allowed to sit in the gallery as an observer.  It is a great chance to meet the candidates and to learn by seeing the GOP political process in action.

We'll have more for you tomorrow & Thursday
