What to Expect
On this beautiful Spring day, we're going to get to know more about each other as people, as talents, as capabilites, as candidates, as a district, and as state. This convention brings together people who really care about our community and our state and have decided to take action. The day is going to be packed with candidates (15-20) running for elected office in SD 42 and throughout the state.
In SD 42, you're going to hear from 48 candidates for CD3-State Convention delegate and you're going to meet Kevin Peterson, our presumptive MN Senate Candidate in SD 42, you're going. Kevin is a blessing and he's going to be a force in our district and beyond for this 2026 campaign. He's wants to get to know you and you're going to want to know Kevin.
Perry Nouis sent you updated copies yesterday afternoon of the Agenda, the Convention Flyer, the Proposed Convention Rules and the minutes from our 2025 Convention. All of these items are posted in the convention resource center below.
CD3/State Delegate Candidate Statements &Senate Candidate Statements
Thank you to all of you who submitted an application to run for CD3/State delegate. We had an excellent participation rate with 48 applications for our 26 allocated delegate openings. The applications have all been accepted, and the statements are compiled for your review here.
Reviewing these statements is quite inspiring. We have a wealth of experience and talents among our SD 42 community and our ranks are growing! Please read the statements... you might learn some things you didn't know about your SD 42 friends. It will also help you decide who to vote for. We are electing 26 delegates from the 48 candidates.
