Congratulations
This past Tuesday night marked an inflection point for SD 42 as an activist group because our presence was felt by those who showed up for the review of the City of Plymouth Climate Action & Resiliency Plan Listening Session.
Thank you to the 30-35 of you who were able to attend. We can make a difference if we can convey that the silent majority is waking up.
Presentation by City Staff & Consultant
The Climate Planning Meeting was troubling for most of us who were there. Some of you have been paying attention and showing up to the council meetings and hearings. For the rest of us, it was a confirmation that we need to increase our action.
But were speaking with a city staff member and a hired consultant. Tomorrow, you can speak with a decision maker.
Speak with the Council Members Tomorrow Morning
Tomorrow (Saturday, May 9th) at 11:00 AM is a great opportunity to speak with Clark Gregor and Joel Spoonheim, Plymouth's Two At-Large Council Members. See the details & RSVP here.
This is the fourth and final one of these Council Member listening sessions. There have been three previous sessions and I think Adam Hoken (thank you, Adam) is the only one who has attended despite being publicised by the city and here on our events page. Let's make up for the missed opportunites with a strong showing. Please come out if you are able and RSVP so we have an idea how many will be coming!
This meeting is Outside
It's should be a beautiful morning, but the temperature is expected to be around 55 degrees, so dress accordingly.
Hope to see you tomorrow morning!
